oh man, i survived obs,obs,obs. i feel so proud of myself. haha whatever right?

anywayyyy, obs is the LOVE! damn i'm missing it alr): okay shall fill you in with the details now

DAY 1
-first, it was of course getting to know my watch members & stuff. i'm in the watch MARCO POLO! it rocks, totally. & our trainer is birin. he's damn nice & also funny i tell you. always "just kidding!"
-took 2 grp pics (1 of them is rather sucky!)
-checked the store for all the stuff & had lunch
-first wet activity: kayaking. we tried capsizing! ahh i tasted SALT in my mouth okay>:( okay but still, i decided i like kayaking(:
-then it was tent-pitching. was raining a bit. my tent mates were sandra, yiting & elyn! & our tent was the one used for demo so we didn't exactly pitch our own:D heh. helped others though.
-d-i-n-n-e-r. OMGGG, sucked luh. but we were really hungry so we just ate. & i was having this painful headache which spoiled my whole mood>:(

DAY 2
-morning joggg. cos we were late for dinner on day 1, we had to morning jog! very early in the morning okay.
-trek to camp 1. OHMYGOSH THE BAGPACK WAS HOW ANNOYING-LY HEAVY! urh. i was practically dying luh. first time carrying such a heavy bagpack. it started raining halfway, so the grounds were muddy & slippery. ONE of my shoe sole dropped. so tiring!!! i felt like some POW.
-camp 1's REALLY nice. it looks like some resort/club. hahah the best thing was the lunch&dinner there. food was so good.
-height element. our watch did postman walk & another one(oh man, i forgot the name!) we took turns for roles like climber/belayer/rope manager/anchormen so on. 2 people didn't try cos there was a shortage of time, that includes ME. ahh fine):
-kayaked again! did t-x rescue this time. omg snd&I were paddling nowhere, like we were damn lost. anyway, we were the first pair to capsize for jessica&mongyi to 'rescue'. haha we were freaking out cos of the jellyfishes & the other sea things. eewl.

DAY 3
-THE SEA EXPEDITION. i think we kayaked through a sea, a river, a swamp, another river then another sea to reach our destination. hahaha. snd&I thought our hands were breaking but it was still really fun. the swamp was, OMG, disgusting. my shoes were stuckkk, in that stinking knee-length grey-black mud. oh man was panicking & forcing them out using my hands. okay then the best thing was we found out we could just FLOAT around without stepping into that crazy mud. ahh what the hell are lifevests for then?! we reached out destination(campsite 3) which was gross. no toilets nothing. only trees, land, plants and a super wonderful quarry!:D
-quarry-ing. hahah this quarry was freshwater-filled! some sort of swimming pool. imagine this in the middle of some sucky forest. pretty nice, in fact, drop-dead gorgeous man. love it to bits. we PLAYED in there for like 1 hour plus. birin kept dunking people, but he himself got dunked by us too!(x reciprocal.
-pitching tents. it-was-so-chaotic!))))): IT RAINED, so everyone was drenched to the skin & shivering in the cold.
-cooked maggie mee. didn't taste as nice as I had expected it to be. a LOTTT was left unfinished. heh prob because of everyone's moods.
-sleeping. damn i was bloody pissed. (hahahah!) we had to sleep in a swimmingpool-ish tent. water everywhere, seriously. i was in stinky WET clothes okay, felt so what. & stupid sandflies were biting me, i SAW. urh urh urhggggggggg. whatever. i HATE sandflies. my whole leg got the bites luh>:( i only slept 1,2 or 3 hours? pathetic. i think this was the worst part of the camp.

DAY 4
this day felt reallyyyyyy fast!):
-trekking. aha going back to base camp(camp 2). it was [stilllllll] raining BUT the rain turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we trekked the shortcut instead. i was so thankful. muahaha. the kayaking ppl also took the short way back (eh you guys missed the fun at the swamp&river! aww) anyway this trek was so much better than the last one, much faster also. there were banners along the way lah, like "Perseverance prevails when all else fails." truetrue, we can't give up easily.
-games!!! we played keypunch & skipping with another two watches Armstrong & Cook. we won BOTHHHH!:DDD three cheers to Marco Polo.
-cooking. i cooked! with jess&the rest too. hahaha yah. it was our last feast): like there were quite a lot of food cos we had to finish everything up. save the best for the last(: it was one of the nicest meals in obs. yay.
-shopping for souvenirs. bought 2 shirts&the MUG! pretty. we need to keep smth to rmb obs as much as possible!
-felt supersuper sad at night. it's like: omg can't believe it's day 4 alr...eh going home tmr...miss obs...ahhhhhh. those kinda stuff. haha.

DAY 5
-even shorter. was really emotional)))): we picked rocks and commited ourselves to do things.
"I commit myself to treasure the people around me and to accept everyone for who they are."
then we threw our rocks into the sea so that no one can take it away from us. maybe mine is somewhere at the seabed, or washed upon the shore alr. haha somewhere far away i know.
-then birin told us that it was marco polo's last circle. i felt damn sad okay))))))): omg.omg.omg no. sigh. many of us wanted to stay but go home at the same time.
-got up the bumboat & headed back to civillisation.

everyone should just go to obs! i may go again. hahah. i never thought i would miss obs, but i do. okay now i get why my some seniors love obs so much.

I LOVE&MISS OBS! plus Marco Polo, Birin, fellow polos, everythinggg that happened. & of course that island ubin.
